Express Employment Professionals in Platteville is partnering with a local company in Highland, WI to recruit a qualified candidate for an Energy Specialist/Delivery Driver position. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity supporting a local delivery route.

Position Summary

This company is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Energy Specialist/Delivery Driver to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient delivery of fuel and propane products. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and maintaining accurate delivery and inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload fuel and propane safely into delivery trucks and customer tanks.
• Deliver products efficiently while following all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate delivery tickets, inventory records, and daily activity logs using electronic systems.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond professionally to customer needs and questions.
• Communicate route challenges or delivery issues to the dispatch team.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections.
• Participate in scheduled weekend on-call rotations.
• Maintain a professional image and represent the company with integrity.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Qualifications

• Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat and Air Brake endorsements required.
• Valid medical certification.
• CTEP/Bobtail certification preferred.
• Excellent driving record.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to connect and handle fueling hoses.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, snow, rain).
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and sit for extended periods.
• Ability to operate trucks, equipment, and handheld technology devices.
