Job Overview

Job Summary:

The Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting the Engineering Department to validate new components and designs for quality, reliability, and manufacturability. This role involves conducting a wide-array of different tests using various instrumentation and gauges and clearly documenting results in reports.

Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday through Friday (overtime hours as needed)

Responsibilities:

  • Test components and machines using instrumentation and gauges
  • Log test activities and observed test conditions
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repair on units under test
  • Generate reports to document test results
  • Assemble prototypes and subassemblies for new designs and test setups
  • Troubleshoot design and operational issues as they are encountered
  • Disassemble and examine components to evaluate condition, design characteristics, and/or root cause of failure
  • Maintain tools and test equipment in good working order
  • Additional duties as assigned

  • Ability to follow all safety protocols and procedures
  • Willingness to wear PPE and work in an environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, and fumes
  • High school diploma or GED required
