Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a local company to search for an Accounting Assistant to join their team. This great client in Dubuque, IA offers the opportunity for advancement and room for growth!

Hours: 1st shift, Monday-Friday

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing accounts payable, specifically related to payments to trade partners

• Assist with client invoicing
• Help controller with monthly closing procedures
• Assist with statutory compliance reporting and filing in all required jurisdictions
• Assist controller with financial analysis and projects

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• General office experience
• Multi-tasking work style
• Must have good PC skills – Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Outlook, etc.
