Job Overview

Specialized Recruiting Group is excited to present an opportunity for an Estimator in the construction industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review contract documents and collaborate with the sales team to strategize bids.
• Manage risk by identifying discrepancies and initiating proper requests for information.
• Prepare detailed take-offs and estimates using a spreadsheet, including material, freight, engineering, and installation costs.
• Timely issuance of manufacturer's quotes.
• Coordinate and price buyouts.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the construction industry, product specifics, codes, standards, architectural drawings, and specifications.
• Analytical ability to gather and summarize data, find solutions to administrative problems, and prioritize work.
• Continual attention to detail, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills, entry-level knowledge of MS Excel helpful.
