Fabrication Utility Worker

Express has partnered with a leading Peosta company and is actively seeking skilled Production Utility workers to strengthen their 2nd shift teams. As a Fabrication Utility Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting laser operators by preparing machined parts for shipment, enhancing the overall production process. Additionally, you may contribute to the paint line by efficiently hanging parts for powder coating, ensuring a high-quality finish. The parts you handle can range from 10 pounds to 150-pound team lifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assist laser operators in preparing machined parts for shipment.
• Collaborate on the paint line by hanging parts for powder coating.
• Safely handle parts weighing 10 to 150 pounds.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• Regular standing, walking, and bending.
• Exposure to varying environmental conditions such as heat, noise, dust, and fumes.

Shift Hours:

• 2nd shift: 3PM-1:15AM, Monday-Thursday
• Overtime available on Fridays (optional, not required)
