Fabricator

Job Overview

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine specifications and material requirements.
• Cut, shape, weld, and assemble metal components using tools such as saws, grinders, welding machines, and other fabrication equipment.
• Measure and align materials to ensure proper fit and finish.
• Perform welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick) to fabricate and join metal parts according to specifications.
• Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and wear necessary protective equipment.
• Operate and maintain fabrication machinery and tools.
• Work closely with other team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the fabrication process.

• Proven experience as a Fabricator, Welder, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Proficiency in operating various fabrication tools and machines (e.g., plasma cutters, grinders, welding equipment).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise work.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions, including standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in various temperatures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in welding or fabrication is a plus.
