Your Responsibilities
As a Facilities Coordinator at John Deere Dubuque, IA you will provide support of other engineers and the manufacturing and/or operation and limited engineering tasks. In addition, you will...
- Coordinate purchase of material to support maintenance.
- Provide support for maintenance engineering processes and routine analyses for materials, manufacturing process and principles.
- Assist in the selection of qualified suppliers for materials and services.
- Create, revise, and develop maintenance documentation including Bills of Material, Drawings, and Preventive Maintenance Plans

What Skills You Need (Required skills/experiences)
- A general understanding of engineering technology, systems, and tools.
- Knowledge of Indirect Materials & Systems (IM&S) Supply Management Strategies and contract management.
- Competency and proficiency with the following: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
What Makes You Stand Out (Desired skills/experiences)
- Background in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, power systems, etc.).
- Experience with root cause analysis tools
- Experience with SAP Logistics Execution and Plant Maintenance Module
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - Technical degree or apprenticeship (1-2 years or equivalent)
