How can you make an impact?
The Finance Manager will play a key role in the Finance Team, providing the financial and related operational support for go-to-market (sales) financial analysis and decision support activities, driving insights and recommendations to support sales incentive (SIC) plans and optimize financial performance. This role will partner closely with the sales organization to drive efficient SIC plans, with finance revenue planning alignment. The role also requires the ability to manage and use large volume of data within analyses along with using existing resources to problem solve and exhibit effective communication skills to work with all levels of management and staff.
This is a remote position (prefer local to Chicago, IL) open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.
What you will be doing:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of sales compensation plan documents, related policies, and communications (includes finding opportunities to improve, automate and/or streamline existing processes)
- Manage the sales compensation processes, ensuring they align with approved policies and plan documents
- Perform the accurate and timely calculation, review, and payout of sales bonus and/or commission payments by tracking sales versus quota achievement
- Maintain a sales incentive tool and other tools/databases for tracking of sales performance and commission/bonus payouts
- Develop and document process documents to effectively manage all compensation-related processes/workflows to ensure legal (SOX) compliance
- Play a key role in monthly financial reporting, forecasts and budgets; quarterly and/or annual business planning, to include factors such as headcount planning, setting sales goals and quotas, territory assignments, and segmentation
You should apply if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or economics required
- Minimum of 8 years professional experience and at least 4-6 years of revenue forecasting and/or sales incentives
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in creating or establishing sales incentive or commission payment financial models, and administering them.
- Progressive experience in finance leadership roles, with a focus on financial planning & analysis, strategic planning, and decision support.
- Proven track record of driving strategic financial planning processes, delivering actionable insights, and influencing senior leadership decisions
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams, build high-performing cultures, drive organizational change and ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization

The pay range for this position is between $80,000 - $120,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
