Financial Analyst - Accounting

Job Overview

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

• Assists with corporate financial data consolidation and analysis on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Interprets and analyzes revenue and expense variances to identify business growth opportunities and cost savings.
• Partners with Senior Analysts to monitor variances, identify trends and make recommendations for improvement to leadership.
• Delivers financial results and analysis to business unit leadership and upper management utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Assists with development of operating plans and forecasts.
• Actively participates in corporate and divisional semi-annual audit program. 

• Travel is Required  

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required PLUS 1-3 years of experience is required

 WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Flexsteel is committed to ensuring the health and safety of their workforce. Computer workstation and climate-controlled office environment. May enter operational areas which are non-air-conditioned and where workers can expect to be occasionally exposed to heat and humidity, fluctuating temperature conditions due to weather, chemical products, dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise. This position may be required to occasionally work near powered industrial trucks and equipment. This position may be required to occasionally work near and with moving mechanical parts.

Work will require the associate to wear personal protective equipment as directed and adhere to all facility environmental, safety and health rules and requirements.
