Overview
Shift: Full-Time, Days, Monday - Friday, for 80 hours per pay period (40 hours/week)
As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating business operations, identifies needs and develops strategies to maximize opportunities. The position will also support the strategic objectives of UnityPoint Health and collaborates with customers across the care continuum to ensure the appropriate information is available to drive decision making and support business needs.

Responsibilities
- Support projects: formulate methodology, establish financial and operational requirements, identify client deliverables, determine tasks and timing.
- Complete special projects and management reports as assigned.
- Communicate with management regularly to review service issues and opportunities for improvement to ensure the delivery of high-quality service to all internal and external customers.
- Participate on teams investigating and strategizing growth or expansion opportunities.
- Partner with the Market and System Finance Team to ensure the financial statements are accurate and complete in a timely manner.
- Prepare analysis of various revenue and expense information to aid budgetary efforts, decision making or operational improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Operations, Business Management or related field
Experience:
- One or more years of experience in accounting, finance or operations roles
Other:
- Previous experience with planning, organizing, delegating and supervising
- Ability to take initiative and expercise independent judgment, decision making and problem solving expertise
- Proficiency in Excel as well as other strong personal computer skills
- Detail oriented
