Job Overview

As the Financial Services Administrative Assistant you will assist the Dupaco Financial Services (DFS) department in a support capacity, greeting members, assist with scheduling appointments, working with clients, client files, performing data entry, supports other team members with a variety of task.  

You’ll be:

  • Provide quality service to members, potential members and coworkers.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and professionalism in all interactions with coworkers.
  • Promote a professional image of the credit union at all times.
  • Greet members in reception area, direct them to appropriate financial advisor or other personnel.
  • Track credit union sales, DFS referral from staff, and approval of referrals.
  • Assist as needed with DFS seminars.
  • Distributing information and brochures to clients, as required.
  • Assist as needed with setting up and maintaining accurate client files.
  • Performs filing, faxing, scanning and correspondence as needed.
  • Answer telephone and direct members and clients regarding various servicing issues.
  • Utilize Redtail CRM.
  • Direct client inquiries in a timely fashion to the appropriate Financial Advisor.
  • Prepare and understand the Asset Listings/Asset Allocations Software.
  • Process Financial Advisor reports/review letters to clients.
  • Ordering supplies/prospectus’.
  • Develop and maintain Monthly call sheet by making calls in a timely manner at the direction of the Financial Advisor.
  • Maintain knowledge of products offered through Dupaco Financial Services and Dupaco Credit Union.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

You’ll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of administrative assistant or equivalent, preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of financial products/services preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external credit union communications and relations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work assignments as necessary
