Hartig Drug is seeking a motivated, team oriented, part or full time float Pharmacist to join their winning team. The float pharmacist will travel to various pharmacies as assigned, within a specific geographical region to maintain pharmacist coverage. This position would be a hybrid with working in stores and working from home completing MTM’s and outcomes. The scheduled shifts will be in within an hour to hour and a half in Dubuque, IA. This position will consult and advise the customers on their medication, both prescription and non-prescription, in a manner that will provide for their total well-being. This role is responsible for ensuring the compliance with all federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations that pertain to the department.

- Dispense prescription medication to patients
- Provide information about medications and help patients understand the instructions their doctors provide
- Provide information and make recommendations about over-the-counter medications

- Ability to work cooperatively with pharmacy staff
- Ability to administer immunizations is required
- Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college
- Valid pharmacist license which must be in good standing with the state pharmacy board
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be able to communicate well with patients and staff
- Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college
- Thirty hours of continuing education every two years
