Forklift Operator

Job Overview

• Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts to move raw materials, finished products, and equipment around the production area.
• Loading/Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading trucks with cast stone materials and products.
• Material Handling: Stack, organize, and move heavy materials and stone products using proper equipment and techniques.
• Production Support: Assist in various production tasks, including preparing molds, mixing materials, and ensuring quality standards are met.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), following safety guidelines for forklift operation, and reporting hazards.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including basic forklift maintenance (e.g., checking fuel, hydraulic fluid, and tires).
• Physical Labor: Participate in physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

• Experience: Previous experience operating a forklift is required. Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
  • Basic knowledge of the construction industry or willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
