Express Employment Professionals is seeking a General Laborer for a local Dubuque-area company. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a hardworking team.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Occasional overtime as needed
• No weekends

Responsibilities

• Assist with asphalt and rock-related projects
• Perform general labor duties at job sites
• Load, unload, and move materials
• Operate hand tools and equipment as directed
• Support crew members with daily project needs
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Follow company safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous construction, landscaping, or general labor experience is a plus but not required
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Able to perform physically demanding work throughout the day

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
• Comfortable performing hands-on work in outdoor environments
• Able to work in dusty, dirty, and physically demanding conditions
