Job Overview
The University of Dubuque is a growing faith-based University that is seeking a Graduate Assistant in Sport Management for the 2026-2027 term, with a potential renewal for 2027-2028.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide support associated with instruction (instructor of record)
- Program assessment assistance
- Sport Management Club administration and leadership
- Master of Management in Sport Management (MMSM) recruitment/marketing
- Perform other duties in support of the University's Mission
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is required (a sport management/sport administration/business discipline is preferred), and the position is conditional based on acceptance into University of Dubuque Masters' program
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Be enrolled full-time (typically at least six credit hours during the fall or spring semesters, or at least three hours during the summer session)
- Be in good academic standing
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple ongoing projects at a given time
- Utilize excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and interpersonal
All graduate tuition is waived for the student for the term in which they serve as a GA. In return for a waiver of tuition, the assistantship recipient agrees to provide service to the University equivalent to twenty (20) hours per week.
