This position offers a flexible schedule, where the hours will primarily be overnights, 4-hour, 6-hour, 8-hour, or 12-hour shifts, and requires every weekend, every other holiday. Holiday pay is at a rate of double time employee's base pay rate. Being in Home Care provides a work-life balance schedule, where they can offer flexible hours that are able to stay consistent.

As a Home Care Caregiver, you will be reporting to assigned clients homes in and around Dubuque County. Where you will be responsible for observing clients, reporting and recording these observations and documenting the services provided. Providing personal care including, baths/showers, or other personal hygiene tasks. Planning and preparing nutritious meals. Assisting residents to and from appointments, or other errands. The Home Care Caregiver will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity and safety of services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Possesses and maintains good physical stamina and mental health
  • Ability to read, follow written instructions and document services provided
  • Is self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision
  • Has empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail or impaired
  • Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation
  • Must possess a Valid Driver's License and proof of car insurance
