HR Payroll/Benefits Specialist
Location: Dubuque, IA
Employment Type: Full-Time Employee
We are growing our HR System/Operations Team and seeking a client focused and detail-oriented person to be a part of it. This critical team member is responsible for ensuring our employees have a best in class experience throughout onboarding and their career regarding understanding their benefits, payroll, and taxes. The position will require the administration of our HR system (UKG) as it relates to job changes, payroll processing, and benefits updates.
We are looking for a motivated person who enjoys being part of a team, appreciates variety and detailed data, and is constantly looking to learn. This is a fast-paced position that requires the ability to multi-task and a high level of detail in a variety of aspects of the role. Successful individuals in this role will learn and maintain proficiency in excel as well as the administration of the HR system for purposes of payroll processing, benefits administration and general reporting. In addition, the ability to build/maintain positive working relationships with management, employees, and our vendor partners using principles of good customer service, anticipating business needs and responding to daily requests through oral/written communications of excellence is critical. At the same time, the ability to maintain strict confidentiality in handling highly sensitive information is required.
