Description
- Act as a primary point of contact for candidates, fostering open and engaging communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers, directors, and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the identification of top-quality candidates.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including educational institutions, by participating in career fairs, conducting mock interviews, and engaging with the community.
- Utilize various strategies, including social media, to attract and market exciting job opportunities to a diverse pool of candidates.
- Create exceptional candidate experiences during interviews and throughout the recruitment journey.
- Implement screening processes, interview guides, and communication templates to effectively manage and select candidates in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records by collecting and entering feedback into our database while staying connected with students.
- Provide assistance with physician recruiting activities when required.
- Conduct reference and background checks in compliance with company policies.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. Degrees in business, human resources, or related fields are preferred. A BSN or similar degree will also be considered.
- Experience: Previous experience in recruiting, human resources, customer service, or related fields that demand a high level of emotional intelligence and teamwork is desired.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to build trust, maintain diplomacy, and exhibit exceptional courtesy in all interactions. The role requires extensive personal contact, often of a personal or sensitive nature, and the ability to motivate and influence others. Strong relationship-building skills with external entities is essential.
- People Skills: Excellent ability to read people, establish connections easily, and quickly build rapport. Professional and confident communication style when engaging with hiring managers and candidates. Possesses an outgoing, personable, and inquisitive personality with a genuine desire to learn about individuals and guide them towards the right career path.
- Other Skills: Enthusiastic and proactive attitude with a strong attention to detail. Exceptional multitasking and time-management abilities. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a self-starter mentality.
Physical Aspects:
Reaching - Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
Lifting - Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles.
Fingering - Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling.
Grasping - Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
Talking - Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly.
Hearing - Perceiving the nature of sound with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make fine discriminations in sound, such as when making fine adjustments on machined parts.
Vision - 20 / 40 or better in the best eye with or without correction.
Repetitive Motions - Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Environmental Conditions: None - The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
