Job Overview
The Human Resources Coordinator will support various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative tasks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation sessions.
• Support HR compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal regulations.
• Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries.
• Help organize company events and employee engagement initiatives.
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
• Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
• Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
• Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Must be a self-starter and have a positive, “can-do” attitude
• Embraces teamwork and appreciates problem-solving in group environments
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in the transportation industry preferred
