SUMMARY:

The Industrial Controls Co-op is responsible for assisting in the design, assembly, testing, and operation of new machinery, work cells, and industrial equipment.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Oversee the construction and assembly of equipment designed in-house, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Utilize CAD software to create mechanical and electrical drawings for individual projects, including new machines and system upgrades
• Ensure all equipment designs comply with relevant safety requirements. Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures related to machine operation and safety.
• Collaborate with outside contractors, including obtaining bids, overseeing installations, and coordinating repairs by third-party providers.
• Stay current with the latest products and technological advancements in the plant engineering and maintenance sectors.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management, including supporting general maintenance activities, project management, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Other duties assigned.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

Currently enrolled in a college, university, or technical school and in progress on bachelor’s or associate degree (A.S / B.A. / B.S.) in Industrial Technologies, Engineering, Engineering Technologies or related field.

Start date of January 2025 and end date of August 2025
