Job Overview
We are seeking an Industrial Sewing & Assembly Operator to join a manufacturing team in Dyersville. This role is responsible for sewing, fabricating, and assembling products using industrial sewing machines, power tools, and other manufacturing equipment in a safe and efficient environment.
- Operate industrial sewing machines, fabric cutters, and hand/power tools
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to work orders and drawings
- Load and unload materials at workstations
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Perform rework or corrections as needed
- Prepare finished products for next production step or transfer
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines
- Document completed work
- Operate a sit-down forklift as needed (training provided)
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience with industrial sewing or manufacturing assembly a plus
- Ability to read work instructions, drawings, and use a tape measure
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
