Installation Technician – Electrical & Wiring
Manchester, IA
Monday-Thursday | Day Shift - 5am to 3:00pm
$20+/HR (Based on Experience)

Essential Duties:

• Performs a variety of industrial truck installation-related duties, including routine work, troubleshooting, light maintenance, modification and repair work in assigned area.
• Will complete electrical and wiring work as part of the installation process
• Assists with maintaining and recommending the proper inventory and supply levels for the efficient installation of products
• Practices preventative maintenance of equipment; ensures cleanliness and orderliness of work area
• Responsible for other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and practical experience of the processes/operations of assigned work area.
• Ability to weld, and to run hand plasma and cutting torch.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics and diagrams
• Must understand weld inspection, types/gauges of steel, and shop math
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Excellent problem solving skills, ability to work well with internal and external customers.
• Ability to lift 50# with continuous lifting of lightweight materials.
• High School Diploma/ GED
• Associate Degree from Vocation/Trade school, or equivalent experience helpful.
