INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN SPECIALIST

Founded in 1855, Morrison Bros. Co. is a growth-minded designer and manufacturer of quality equipment utilized in the petroleum and chemical industries. We’re seeking qualified candidates for an Instructional Design Specialist in our Learning & Development Department.  This position will create and maintain training content, such as videos, eLearning, and graphic content that would be used for compliance training, new hire orientation, work instructions, policies, and procedures. The Instructional Design Specialist will frequently collaborate with employees and managers on projects, so excellent communication skills along with strong organizational and project management skills are required. Daily tasks could include:  authoring eLearning courses; filming and editing video; creating illustrations and animations; and capturing and editing photos.

This position requires proficiency in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams; 2 years of graphic design experience, video editing or equivalent education experience; proficiency in Adobe programs including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator; and excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.  Experience using Articulate Storyline (or similar program) would be a plus.
