Job Overview

We’re partnering with a long-established, locally rooted insurance provider to hire a full-time Insurance Agent. This is a client-focused role involving policy support, account maintenance, quoting, and occasional on-site visits. While licensed insurance experience is preferred, strong office and customer service skills are key. Ideal for someone with an agricultural background and a go-getter mindset.

Pay: $25–$30/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time | 40 hours/week | 100% onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist walk-in and existing clients with insurance needs, including quoting and account changes
• Perform policy reviews and account maintenance—this is primarily a service-based role, not commission sales
• Engage clients in the office and at property locations for account updates and inspections
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
• Keep accurate records of client interactions and insurance data
• Support teammates—no individual book of business; all agents contribute across accounts
• Stay up to date with industry regulations, products, and coverage options

Qualifications:

• Property & Casualty license required (can be obtained after hired)
• Strong customer service and administrative experience
• Previous insurance or sales experience preferred but not required
• Background in farming/agriculture is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple client needs

Physical Requirements:

• Comfortable working onsite full-time with occasional off-site property visits
• Ability to sit, stand, and move between office and client locations as needed
