Intake Operator

Job Overview

• Safely load and unload raw materials and finished products from trucks and trailers
• Inspect incoming materials for quality, quantity, and damage
• Verify shipments against bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase orders
• Operate forklifts, skid steers, or other material-handling equipment (as certified)
• Accurately record weights, counts, and other intake data into company systems
• Sort and stage materials for production or storage
• Maintain clean and organized intake and staging areas
• Follow company safety procedures and OSHA regulations
• Communicate effectively with drivers, supervisors, and production staff
• Assist with inventory counts and warehouse support as needed

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling preferred
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Basic math and recordkeeping skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to workplace safety

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures
• Comfortable working around heavy machinery and equipment
