Your Responsibilities
As the Compliance Coordinator, your responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective compliance program in accordance with regulatory, licensing, and accrediting rules, regulation and standards. Responsibilities will also include:
- Acting as central point of contact and monitors compliance with accreditation, regulatory and licensing bodies
- Maintaining awareness of changes in requirements by accrediting, regulatory and licensing bodies
- Identifying patterns and trends and identifies opportunities for improvement
- Facilitating performance improvement activities
- Educating and assisting in the development and maintenance of appropriate policies and procedures to fulfill requirements
- Acting as the agency's compliance officer to further corporate compliance policy and procedure activities
- Performing or facilitating completion of internal auditing procedures and related plans of correction
- Facilitating or actively participating in organizational committees focusing on high-risk, high-volume activities to ensure compliance
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of experience in the behavioral health field and/or experience with administrative code, state, and federal regulations, and/or accrediting standards and interpretation of legal language
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with computers, specifically Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
