Job Overview
Working directly with Field Operations and Regional Distribution Center (RDC) teams, you will gain exposure to various functions within operations and participate in the inventory advancement initiatives to support the pull back of inventory across the branches. The position will be a travel-based role.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Perform sample cycle counts in field locations to gauge inventory accuracy prior to pull back.
- Conduct full physical counts in buildings with large variances on the sample
cycle counts. - Locate material staged in the counter area of service locations to be excluded from the inventory recovery initiatives.
- Pick, pack, and stage all items identified by the inventory planning team as over stock to be sent back to the RDC.
- Communicate with the transportation department to coordinate pick up of materials recovered from service locations.
- Perform other warehouse duties, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- 1+ years of experience working in a warehouse capacity.
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team-based environment.
- Ability to learn and use warehouse equipment and inventory systems.
- Ability to travel up to 100% of the time with overnight stays.
