Description:

POSITION PURPOSE:

Maintains the supply chain information system on a daily basis. Runs daily reports, analyzes data and develops reports as requested by department managers. Monitors system daily to resolve any system issues. Monitors, facilitates and trains new supply chain requestors, approvers to ensure all associates have the necessary skills to become proficient in the Lawson Supply Chain System.

What you will do:

• Demonstrates the mission and values of Mercy Medical Center.
• Provides daily supply chain information systems monitoring to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide individual and system wide education as needed for SCIS upgrades.
• Creates and maintains all non-stock requisition templates.
• Takes an active role in improving the quality of service provided by the department.

• Must have ability to analyze data and recommend plan of action.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
• Must be able to work with little supervision.

• Must have excellent trouble shooting, analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Must have the ability to work independently.
• Must have the ability to teach and develop education program for SCIS education.
• Must demonstrate and actively promote the values and mission of Mercy Medical Center. Supports the Trinity Health Organizational Integrity Program.

MercyOne Eastern Iowa operates four medical centers in Dubuque, Elkader, Dyersville and Clinton.
