Information Technology Manager
Since 1979, Engineering Services and Products Company (ESAPCO) has grown from a regional, two-person office to the industry-leading manufacturer of fabric structures, metal structures and greenhouses with over 30,000 products distributed through direct marketing, three online stores and two lead-generation websites. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Manager to join our team and help drive the growth and success of our business.
We are looking for an IT Manager with extensive experience managing corporate computer systems, including both software and hardware components. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing our IT infrastructure to support the company's operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and implement computerized systems to enhance efficiency through automation and optimization of current and future business processes.Â
- Define and direct the companyâs overall software architecture and IT strategy.Â
- Maintain and upgrade ERP/MRP systems, ensuring their effectiveness in supporting business needs.Â
- Collaborate with department managers to identify business processes and translate them into system requirements for automation.Â
- Evaluate, select, and implement software packages to streamline business processes.Â
- Monitor, maintain, and upgrade computer hardware, including user devices, network infrastructure, and server hardware.Â
- Manage and maintain network switches, servers, and related infrastructure.Â
- Supervise and lead the IT staff across two locations, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.Â
- Oversee IT resources and ensure their optimal use for project completion and system maintenance.Â
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business goals.Â
- Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams to achieve corporate objectives.Â
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing corporate IT systems and staff.Â
- Proven experience in automating business processes, particularly in manufacturing environments.Â
- Strong familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, with preferred experience in Epicor ERP and SQL.Â
- Hands-on experience in network and server management.
- Associateâs degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Offices Suites, and Outlook.
Language Skills                                              Â
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Â
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Â
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
Mathematical Skills                                        Â
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.Â
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability                                            Â
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Supervisory Responsibilities                            Â
This job will supervise a team of 5-6 employees.
