Job Overview
Kendall Hunt Publishing is looking for an enthusiastic college student to fill our K-12 Editorial Intern position, with an emphasis on math programs. This position will allow you to explore the field of publishing while assisting in the development and production of print and digital educational products. For the summer of 2024 the focus will be high school mathematics, so a comfort level with math is necessary. This internship is an in-person position located in our home office in Dubuque, Iowa; no remote work is currently available.

In A Typical Work Day You Will...
- Enter high school math equations and science questions into our online assessment generator
- Learn our digital workflow and software
- Review book pages for accuracy per the manuscript
- Special projects and other duties as assigned
Who You Are...
- You are comfortable inputting upper level math equations in a digital format
- You are proficient or knowledgeable of Internet software, Adobe Professional, and Microsoft Office programs
- You don't mind taking initiative and consider yourself an independent thinker
- You have strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- You are detailed, proactive, and hard-working with experience balancing multiple tasks
- You are a great communicator, people person and problem solver
- You are a freshman, sophomore, or junior currently enrolled in a two or four-year college or university
- You will need to be available to work during the summer months
