Kitchen & Bath Designer – Hiring ASAP!

We’re looking for a Kitchen & Bath Designer for a Dubuque company! If you have a passion for design and expertise in cabinets and countertops, this is a great opportunity to showcase your skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work closely with clients to understand their design needs and preferences.
• Use design applications to create initial illustrations through final approved designs.
• Develop detailed drawings and specifications for installation.
• Provide accurate quotes, including project costs and timelines.
• Oversee installation to ensure proper execution of designs.
• Collaborate with designers and architects for cohesive space planning.
• Source and order necessary materials, adhering to budgets and project specifications.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in cabinet design or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Sales experience and ability to present design concepts effectively.
• Flexibility to work weekends with days off during the week.

Additional Skills:

• Ability to interpret and communicate numerical data accurately.
• Comfortable working with fractions when measuring spaces.
• Experience with computerized inventory control systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
