Laboratory Technician II – Temporary (Full-Time)
Pay: $28–$30/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Occasional weekend work possible (7:00 AM–12:00 PM with a weekday off)

Duration: Start ASAP through May 16, 2026

Express Employment is seeking a Laboratory Technician II to start immediately in a temporary, full-time role. This position supports water and wastewater testing while one of the lab technicians is on parental leave. Training will begin right away.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical, biological, and bacteriological testing of water and wastewater
• Collect and transport daily water and wastewater samples
• Prepare standards and lab solutions
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Enter and maintain test results in a database
• Assist with lab cleanliness, supplies, and basic reporting

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in environmental science, chemistry, biology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain by start date)
• Experience with water/wastewater testing preferred
• Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills
