Your Responsibilities
As a Lead Therapist, your primary responsibility includes providing couple, individual and family therapy to clients seeking help in resolving intrapersonal and/or interpersonal conflicts and/or situational stresses in their lives and provide clinical support for other therapists in the designated office(s). This also includes:
- Provide emergency consultation with clinicians and crisis case management as needed. Problem solve scheduling, client, and/or coordination issues at the designated office(s).
- Conduct quarterly therapist staff meeting about processes and procedures with DCS.
- Conduct bi-weekly group supervision with documentation (If not an LISW, have LISW present).
- Conduct monthly supervision with individual therapists in designated office(s) to help with work through vicarious trauma and counter transferal issues.
What You Need
- Master's Degree in a mental health field with clinical focus that allows licensure
- LMHC or LISW in Iowa
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a behavioral healthcare setting
- Education in clinical supervision of at least 6 hours
