Loading and Unloading Associate

Job Overview

• Assist with the safe handling, staging, and preparation of furniture, appliances, and large items
• Load and unload furniture, appliances, and oversized freight with care
• Perform light assembly and preparation of products when needed
• Inspect items and equipment before and after handling to ensure quality and safety
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding job progress and completion
• Handle items carefully to prevent damage during loading, unloading, and staging
• Use handheld devices for documentation, work orders, and job tracking
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and PPE requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and report any issues

• Prior experience in moving, warehouse operations, logistics, installation support, or furniture assembly is preferred but not required
• Must be reliable, hardworking, and able to work well with a team
• Ability to lift and move large or heavy items
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
