Job Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Machine Operator to join a company in Dubuque's team. This role involves setting up and running machinery to meet customer specifications, inspecting products for quality, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:20 PM (overtime until 3:20 PM as needed)

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up machines for each part according to customer specifications
• Change grinding wheels and other components as needed
• Monitor parts during operation to ensure accurate sizing and quality
• Safely operate forklifts to move materials
• Inspect parts using micrometers, profilometers, and other quality control tools
• Use hand tools for adjustments and maintenance tasks
• Keep work area clean, safe, and compliant with company standards

Qualifications:

• Machine operation and setup experience preferred
• Familiarity with quality control tools and processes
• Forklift certification or proven proficiency
• Strong attention to detail and safety focus
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
