Press Brake & CNC Machine Operator
LOCATION: Dubuque, IA
HOURS: 1st Shift
WAGE: $23-28/hr


Summary:
A local Dubuque manufacturer seeking an entry-level Press Brake & CNC Machine Operator to join their team. This role involves bending steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, including set-up, programming, operation, and quality checks of finished parts. Candidates will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with long-term opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate, program, set up, and troubleshoot CNC machinery
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances
  • Accurately measure parts using precision tools such as micrometers and calipers
  • Operate overhead cranes for material handling
  • Perform press brake operations to bend and form parts to specifications
  • Operate robot welders and assist with small part assembly as required
  • Maintain quality standards by checking finished parts against drawings and tolerances
  • Support other departmental duties and cross-functional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Basic CNC programming and machine operation skills 
  • Ability to perform basic math and measurement calculations accurately and quickly
  • Comfortable standing, stooping, and bending for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs multiple times per shift
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn
