Express Employment in Platteville has partnered with a local business in DARLINGTON, WI to search for a candidate to support their business in a MACHINE OPERATOR/ MATERIAL HANDLER role. This is a temporary assignment.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Shifts: 2nd & 3rd

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Following established production standards, performs all functions of the manufacturing process.
• Inspect all equipment to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Follow operational procedures and complete required paperwork.
• Ensure accurate counts and weights on production are recorded.
• Report any non-compliant, defective, or sub-standard product immediately to Packaging Leader.
• Assist in any other areas of the manufacturing plant when necessary.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be able to read, interpret and understand written and oral directions in the English language.
• Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies.
• Must demonstrate basic math skills to calculate production yields and understand weights and measures.
