What our Mail Center Associates do and why it’s important

Our Mail Center Associates are responsible for handling high volumes of mail center transactions and are crucial to keeping our company running efficiently.

In practice, the core activities of your job will be to:

• Sort mail to separate personal, departmental, and claims mail.
• Open mail and sort claims and correspondence according to departmental standards.
• Scan claims and correspondence into information system.
• Operate postage/mailing equipment.
• Box scanned claims for long-term storage.
• Mail route duties inside and outside of the building.
• Order supplies and calling vendors as needed.

Strengths and skills necessary for success in the role

Qualified candidates must have interest and the ability to assist with data entry and the ability to learn and grow in a fast-paced, technical environment. Organization and exceptional attention to details are a must.
