A long standing Dubuque company is looking for a 1st shift Maintenance Manager to join their team. The position offers pay that is based on experience (BOE), a competitive 401k plan, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain maintenance procedures.
• Use the Maintenance Software System to track, control, and document work orders.
• Follow and manage the computerized Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule.
• Respond to high-priority, unscheduled maintenance tasks.
• Ensure key replacement equipment is available to meet uptime requirements.
• Perform predictive maintenance to prevent downtime and realize cost savings.
• Plan and execute special maintenance projects with management approval.
• Ensure all lubrication, thermocouple maintenance, and safety inspections are completed and documented.
• Monitor maintenance tasks for timely completion and maintain historical records.
• Review and replenish key replacement parts and supplies based on usage.
• Track and manage the issuance of hand tools.
• Aim to improve process uptime and reduce maintenance costs to align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Excellent understanding of preventive, predictive, and unscheduled maintenance.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance-related software.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
