Express Employment Professionals is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for a local manufacturing company in Cascade, IA. This position requires a strong mechanical background to provide expertise in plant and machinery maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in building and machine repairs.
• Assist in maintaining the physical plant, grounds, IT, and machinery.
• Work with vendors, customers, and management for maintenance coordination.
• Maintain a clean work environment within the department.
• Stay updated on Federal, State, County, and City codes.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager in hiring outside vendors

Requirements:

• Prior knowledge in Electrical, Mechanical, and Construction.
• Prior experience removing and installing machinery using cranes, forklifts, etc.
• 2/3(+) of work time involves standing and walking.
• Lift up to 75 lbs., classified as heavy-duty.

Working Conditions:

• Work around machinery continuously.
• Stand for long periods on concrete.
• Wear required safety gear.
