About the Opportunity

Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a local manufacturing company. This role focuses on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of machinery and facility systems to keep operations running efficiently and safely.

This position offers schedule flexibility with the option to work either five 8-hour days (Monday–Friday) or four 10-hour days (Tuesday–Friday), depending on what best fits your lifestyle. Training is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment and facility systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and building infrastructure
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Support troubleshooting and repair of PLC-controlled systems and CNC equipment
• Assist with industrial and residential-style wiring as needed
• Maintain equipment reliability and minimize downtime through timely repairs
• Work collaboratively to support facility maintenance and operational needs
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Document repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment status as required

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics preferred
• Hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, or industrial equipment repair experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with PLCs and CNC equipment is a plus
• Technical Diploma or Associate’s degree preferred but not required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team
• Willingness to be trained for candidates with the right attitude and experience
