We are looking for a Market Research Analyst who will have responsibility for providing insights to support innovation, business, product, and marketing development efforts. The desired candidate has a passion for research and is a problem-solver who can aggregate, analyze, and interpret data from disparate sources in a simple and succinct way. The successful candidate will become a key member of a highly collaborative cross-functional product research team.

 

This position can work remotely within the continental United States but can also be based in one of our McGraw Hill offices.

 

How can you make an impact?

The Market Research Analyst will be expected to:

•Partner with product teams to understand business needs.

•Plan and execute quantitative and qualitative research using optimized methods based on business and research objectives, budget, and timeline.

•Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex, multi-source data through the application of statistical methods.

•Leverage secondary research, news, and other sources of competitive intelligence to develop insightful analyses and presentations of education product, consumer, and competitive trends in the U.S. market, to influence product development

•Build presentations, lead discussions, and facilitate synthesis workshops for different stakeholders throughout the organization focused on results and actionable recommendations.

•Ensure data quality and maintain detailed project documentation all while complying with McGraw Hill’s PII policies, which will live within our internal Market Research portal, research database, and private SharePoint libraries.

 

What can you bring to the role?

•3–5 years of previous market research experience required.

•Experience in conducting end-to-end market research projects.

•Ability to create and program online research surveys is highly preferred.

•Knowledge of qualitative research methodologies and the ability to work with stakeholders to create discussion guides for qualitative studies is highly preferred

The pay range for this position is between $55,000- $95,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.  Additionally, a full range of medical and/or other benefits may be provided, depending on the position offered.
