Marketing Assistant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority):

  • Assist with basics in the marketing dept.
  • Co-op claims
  • Flyer creation
  • Presentations
  • Cut truck decal
  • Record keeping
  • Basic Photo editing
  • Trade show/event scheduling/applications and support
  • Administrative support
  • Online projects
  • Product knowledge
  • Interacts with internal and external "customers"
  • Other duties as required and assigned.
  • Maintain regular onsite attendance as scheduled.

 

Work Environment:

  • Ability to sit frequently and for long durations.
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
  • Some travel is required.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.

 

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Able to work under conditions of periodic mental stress.
  • Able to multi-task and concentrate on several issues at once.
  • Able to sit frequently and for long durations
  • Able to use problem-solving skills, interpret data, organize, plan, and communicate by speaking and writing.
  • Ability to periodically lift items over 10 lbs.
  • Able to make decisions based on logic and company protocol and procedures.
  • Able to adjust to frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team setting.

 

Education, Skills and Knowledge required:

  • Associates degree in marketing or other related field - minimum
  • Basics in layout/design software-Mac
  • Organizational skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Website/online admin skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-starter-motivated
  • Ability to solve problems, suggest improvements Maintains a professional company image and branding on all projects.
