Overview
Medical Associates is hiring a Marketing Communications Specialist to join our marketing team! As a Marketing Communications Specialist, you will plan, develop, and produce effective visual and written communication. You will also support the execution of Medical Associates digital campaigns and tactics.
Schedule: Core business hours are Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00 with occasional needs to work earlier or later. This will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Plan, create and produce marketing communication including written and visual content for ads, brochures, flyers, direct mail, invitations, displays, social media, Google ads, press releases, etc. This includes working collaboratively with internal clients to identify needs and interpret into a project plan. Present ideas using verbal and written communication skills.
- Plan and develop all marketing communication within a given budget and deadline, including obtaining bids from vendors, coordinating printing, placement, mailing, and digital dissemination.
- Stay abreast of marketing technology, including digital media and processes, as well as having an awareness of current trends in the visual arts.
- Coordinate media placement of advertisements and marketing communications, including Google advertising.
- Assist in website updating and maintenance.
- Record, edit, and produce video for social media.
- Complete all other projects and duties as assigned.
What Skills You Bring:
- Knowledge of principles and practices of graphic design including color, line, typography, and composition
- Knowledge of principles and practices of public relations
- Ability to create and produce graphic materials utilizing specified computerized graphic and web design software and multimedia equipment
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Experience generating compelling, clever, and grammatically correct written content such as headlines, slogans, ad copy, scripts, social media updates, press releases, and blog posts
- Time management and organization skills
- Strong customer service skills with internal and external customers
- Capacity to translate and organize thoughts and ideas into visual/audio/written communication that informs or persuades a target audience
Knowledge & Skills:
Education: Bachelors/4-year degree required, Marketing or Communications degree preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years of marketing or communications-related experience.
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts are important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) is necessary.

Physical Aspects:
Lifting - Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles.

Hearing - Perceiving the nature of sound with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make fine discriminations in sound, such as when making fine adjustments on machined parts.
Vision - 20 / 40 or better in the best eye with or without correction.
Repetitive Motions - Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
