What you’ll do:
Be the doctor of our fleet! Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks accordingly as needed. The individual in this role is responsible for the mechanical maintenance of the Company fleet, plant operation assistance, on road repairs and general overall preventative maintenance of equipment.

Responsibilities:
·      Transmission and engine installations
·      Troubleshoot problems as they arise with fleet
·      Provide instruction to vehicle operators to aide in the repair of their truck
·      Repair mechanical problems on trucks
·      Repair electrical problems on trucks
·      Organize, track, and log all completed repairs
·      Analyze defected equipment to determine required repairs
·      Ability to use computer diagnostics software
·      Inspect and drive repaired vehicles to quality check work performed
·      Hydraulic maintenance and repairs, preventative maintenance, brake and steering adjustments, electrical diagnostics and repair, and air conditioning/heating service.
·      Willing and able to operate a commercial motor vehicle, which include mixer, dump, and tanker trucks
·      Can operate a computer system for record management of maintenance reports for the fleet as a whole and trucks, individually
·     Perform plant and facility maintenance at ready mix, sand, and crushing plants which will include basic electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic trouble shooting.
·      Perform other duties or functions as directed by management in line with the business objectives of the company.
What you’ll need:
  • Two years of experience or combination of schooling in mechanical repair and maintenance on heavy duty trucks, desired
  • Valid driver’s license is preferred
  • Willing to train in the right applicant
