Advance Pump & Equipment, Inc. is adding a Mechanical Service Technicians to our company, located in Peosta, IA. We look for strong, stand-out people with the desire to elevate our organization, a willingness to learn the customer vacuum tank business and a commitment to results.

Essential Duties

Mechanical Service Technicians duties include but not limited to:

• Assist in all phases of mounting a vacuum tank body to a truck chassis
• Use and control a variety of hand tools
• Willing to work in a team environment with a common goal
• MIG & TIG a plus but not necessary

Physical Demands

• Will be required to reach, lift, kneel, walk, and stand for several hours at a time
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds
• All applicants will undergo a Pre-employment physical and drug test

Requirements

• Prior work experience (1-2 years) in working with truck equipment. WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON as long as the applicant has had exposure to mechanical work
• Experience or exposure to truck body equipment/hydraulic & electrical design a plus
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Energetic and willing to dig into projects and do what is necessary to accomplish the mission
• Must have good work references and show good past job history

Position Type: Full Time (40-45 hours a week)

Wage: $22-$26 hourly; paid weekly
