Express Employment in PLATTEVILLE, WI has partnered with a company in LANCASTER, WI to support their business in a Metal Fabricators/Welders role.

Overview:

This hands-on role involves metal cutting, measuring, reading blueprints, welding (steel, aluminum, steel pipe), working with power tools and metal saws, and performing basic electrical wiring on machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate equipment using cutting, measuring, and layout tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Perform welding on steel, aluminum, and pipe.
• Operate power tools, metal saws, and hot work equipment safely.
• Assist with basic electrical wiring on machinery and equipment.
• Ensure quality and accuracy in fabrication processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in metal fabrication, welding, or a mechanical trade.
• Ability to read blueprints and measure accurately.
• Skilled in using power tools and fabrication equipment.
• Experience with MIG/TIG welding on various metals is a plus.
• Basic understanding of machinery electrical wiring.
• Strong attention to detail and safety-minded work habits.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hours: 1st shift
