Job Overview

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand and follow company welding procedure specifications related to MIG welding
• Ability to understand and follow blueprints, data sheets, spec sheets, and other project material
• Execute welds that meet industry standards, examine pieces for defects, and measure pieces with proper welding equipment to ensure conformance with specifications
• Adaptable to unique projects like railing and stairs for structural projects that also require detailing work
• Maintain tools and equipment to company standards, keep workstation clean and orderly to retain a safe and operational work environment
• Ability to use equipment involved with industrial welding such as MIG welder, wet saw, and forklift
• Work independently or with a small team of other fabricators to complete large and complex projects
• Comply and maintain required company standards of quality and safety

Qualification:

• High school/GED
• Ability to perform basic welding techniques
• Willing to train the right applicant
