JOB DESCRIPTION:
Be the change you want to see! The Dubuque Community Y is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Director to continue the success of our programs in our new facility at 7900 Chavenelle Road.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Complete program oversight and management of assigned areas of Early Childhood Education. Position will provide supervision and leadership for child care staff members This position is focused on staff development, financial development, community relations, innovation, collaborations, providing excellent service to our children and families, and supporting all programs and services to achieve the organizational mission, and its annual budgets and goals. Position reports to the President & CEO.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in staff development, budget accountability, program development, community involvement, member-centered customer service and retention as well as being a people oriented individual with a focus on constantly improving the childcare educational experience. Preferred candidates must meet DHS licensing requirements for a center director and should have significant training in Early Care and Education. In addition they should have experience working with diverse populations and general operations. Candidates must possess the ability to multitask in a fast paced, ever changing, demanding environment.
