Holy Family Catholic Schools in Dubuque, Iowa is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and drive long-term sustainability. This is a full-time, 12-month position that will remain open until filled.

About the Role:

As the Director of Finance, you will be the financial leader for Holy Family Catholic Schools and the Holy Family Legacy Foundation. You will oversee all financial operations, ensuring fiscal responsibility, sustainability, and alignment with both organizational and Archdiocesan policies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and managing budgets
• Overseeing financial reporting and auditing
• Implementing internal controls
• Supervising finance staff
• Driving strategic financial planning

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented leader with strong analytical skills who can maintain financial stability while supporting the long-term growth of our schools.

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA/CPA preferred) OR at least five years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Strong leadership and financial management skills
• A passion for mission-driven work in a faith-based environment
• A practicing Roman Catholic is preferred

This position will offer early 1:1 mentorship and training for additional support!
